Vision Statement

Based on the definition of a vision statement, a small working group will work in consultation with the general membership to create a vision that resonates with all members of the organization and helps them feel proud, excited, motivated, and part of something bigger than themselves.  A vision gives shape and direction to the organization’s future, and represents the inspiration and framework for all strategic planning.

During each phase of vision statement development, the working group will post a draft on the website.  Members will be asked to review each draft and submit feedback accordingly.  The final draft will be posted when it is complete.  A normal vision statement ranges in length from a couple of words to several pages.
